Daryl’s Designations

Daryl is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and received his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation in 1996. This is the highest standard of knowledge and the most extensive program for financial services credentials in Canada. Daryl has also obtained other financial designations including Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP).

Executive & Employee Benefits Broker

As an Employee Benefits Broker, Daryl plays a prominent role in creating comprehensive, competitive, and flexible employee benefits plans and executive benefits plans. He focuses on finding affordable plans and tax savings for the employer, and flexible benefits packages that employees value. Our group benefits plans are designed for medium-sized businesses with 10 or more employees.

Corporate Estate Planner

As a Corporate Estate Planner, Daryl helps his clients explore the most tax efficient ways to pursue death or living benefits for your estate. He focuses on both the protection and preservation of personal and corporate assets. Other key financial planning areas he covers include mutual funds, pensions, life insurance, and risk management.

Throughout his career, Daryl has worked with a diverse range of clients in Edmonton and throughout Alberta, British Columbia, Western Canada, and even the Yukon and Northwest Territories.

Daryl is a valuable asset to his clients, bringing many skills to the table including New Business Development, Coaching, Sales Management, Customer Services, and Strategic Planning. Clients appreciate both his honesty and guidance when it comes to making important financial decisions that will affect their families, business, employees, and estate.

Other Interests

Daryl is also an active member of Capital Ideas Edmonton and works closely with Benefits Canada, an online newsletter and magazine focused on employee benefits across the country. He has served on various boards over the years including Better Business Bureau, Snow Valley Ski Club, Estate Planning Council of Edmonton, and Edmonton Executive Association. He is an active member of the Conference of Advanced Life Underwriters (CALU) and is a 2016  board member of the South Edmonton Business Association.

Outside of the office, Daryl is a loving husband and father. He is interested in international travel and aviation and is currently working towards obtaining his pilot license. Daryl enjoys sports and is a life-long hockey player, tennis enthusiast, and water skier.
